thunder and apple blossoms her naked presence in the orchard grass ***** rising out of the mountain lake pink tips pucker to peach pits ***** sea salts her need finds a helping hand ***** under a nude pearl sky touching the lake with her sex * Larry Kimmel is a US poet of both haikai and mainline forms. His most recent books are: this hunger, tissue-thin and Blue Night & the inadequacy of long-stemmed roses (Modern English Tanka Press). |
