Ink Sweat & Tears is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring a series of events in conjunction with The Poetry Trust.

The first is Poetry at The Cut – a reading by American poet Louis Jenkins (this will be his first reading in the UK) and by Suffolk poet & Aldeburgh Poetry Festival founder Michael Laskey. The event takes place at The Cut arts centre in Halesworth on Thursday 27th September. The event starts at 7:30pm, tickets are £6.00 - the box office is 0845 673 2123.

The second round of sponsorship cover a series of 6 'close reading' sessions – where individual poets read and scrutinise their favourite poems – during the course of the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival. The readings – which take place on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November – are all held in the Peter Pears Gallery in Aldeburgh. Admission is free of charge.
