Regular IS&T words and images contributor Geoff Stevens has emailed in to say "I'm re-starting the free Purple Patch poetry evenings at The Barlow Theatre, Spring Walk, off High Street, Langley, near Oldbury, West Midlands (UK). You are invited to attend on Tuesday 7th October 7:30pm for open mic poetry and hopefully some music. Please bring along your own work if you wish. We held some very enjoyable evenings earlier in the year, but we need bigger audiences. Free car parking in front of theatre. Close to motorway interchange, on bus route and Birmingham to Stourbride rail line – station at Langley Green – 3 minutes walk.
