Time for more news on what IS&T contributors have been doing...

* Katrina Naomi has been in touch to say "I'd be really grateful if you could give my first full collection The Girl with the Cactus Handshake and my website a plug on your hugely popular IST. It's published by Templar Poetry and costs £9.99 – available from Templar, Amazon and a couple of decent bookshops (including Foyles) to date. Please excuse the utter shamelessness but I'm told it has to be done."

* Mandy Pannett has a new collection of poetry out – we've carried a couple of the poems on IS&T. Called Allotments in the Orbital it cost £7.99 from Searle Publishing, who – we are glad to see – also offer their own online sales facility, so there is no excuse for buying this book. www.searlepublishing.com

* John Irvine reports from New Zealand: "It is with great pleasure that I announce the birth of my personal collection of speculative poetry, short stories and recipes (yes, recipes!) This fully illustrated volume of 172 pages has been grumbled together and thrashed into shape by none other than Dave Freeman, he of Rat atouille for the rindless and Anomalous Appetites fame. "The artists have given freely of their time to make this collection outstanding and I cannot thank them enough. Infamous American horror artist Tony Karnes has selflessly shouldered the burden of the artwork, and the others, all internationally famed, are Marge Simon, Stella Danelius, Cathy Edmunds, Laura Givens, Jeff Beckman and capo Dave Freeman himself incognito. I contributed a few measly images pinched from the Internet. The onerous task off proof-reading (three times) has once again been undertaken by my wife Maureen (Mo.) It's a thankless task which she does very well. This tome has been assembled in American Letter size, the same as Anomalous Appetites, and is a worthy addition to your coffee table stack. I've also been invited to submit the book to the the judges for the prestigious Australian Shadow Awards in 2010."
